This was a 2 1/2 year, $400 million, fast track design-build project to construct a modern wide bodied jet aircraft maintenance facility.
Prepare a design criteria manual, guide specifications and design for an integrated cathodic protection system at the maintenance base.
Responsible for review of all plans and specifications prepared by multiple A/E firms for compliance with the guide specifications for corrosion control. Design support included cathodic protection, protective coatings, water treatment and metallurgy. Facilities protected include water storage tanks and piping system, underground fuel farm, fuel piping, fire protection system, water treatment system, industrial waste flow equalization tanks and hydraulic elevator jacks.
